Skilled personnel, a wealth of experience and many contacts around the world will contribute to a smooth delivery of your aircraft. We obtain overflight and landing permissions and pre-arrange fuel to avoid unnecessary en route delays. Southern Cross has many years of experience installing auxiliary ferry fuel systems on a wide range of aircraft types. In addition, Southern Cross can install temporary navigation and communication equipment and innovates ferry systems to increase flexibility and economy.

From routine to the most complex mission, we will find a solution which results in the safest, most reliable and efficient ferry service available to the aviation industry today.

Our standard delivery package includes:

• All fuel en-route
• Landing fees and navigation charges
• All overflight and landing permissions
• Crew fees, expenses and airfares
• Crew license endorsements
• Installation of long-range navigation and communication equipment, if required
• Installation of auxiliary ferry fuel systems, if required

During the delivery flight, you will be updated regularly on the progress and arrival schedule.

Southern Cross guarantees that our quoted price is all-inclusive. We use our own, ICAO-assigned, callsign and flight numbers. Authorities and service providers around the world will therefore charge user-fees directly to us, leaving no room for unpleasant surprises that you may otherwise receive months later. Our experience and sources allow us to calculate these costs precisely in advance.

Southern Cross can obtain FAA special flight permits and export certificates of airworthiness, to assist you in a smooth importation or exportation of your aircraft.

Southern Cross carries out acceptance test flights, redelivery test flights and maintenance test flights on a regular basis. Being a customer-focused, independent company we are able to accomplish complete flight assessments in accordance with your customer requirements and to provide professional airworthiness advice. Our independence is appreciated by many lessors and major airlines, for which our flight test report forms an integral part of the aircraft acceptance in the delivery or redelivery process.

Southern Cross' dedicated personnel are highly qualified and have many years of flight test experience over a wide diversity of civil and military aircraft types. The qualifications of our crews are accepted by the UK CAA for carrying out test flights for the issue or renewal of a Certificate of Airworthiness.

After each acceptance flight, redelivery flight or post-maintenance test flight you will receive a detailed report with all flight test results and observed discrepancies. For an ever-increasing number of types, we can provide customized flight test schedules, to match the type of service requested. Our acceptance flight test schedules are most conclusive and contain functional checks of all aircraft systems. You will find this a great asset, as too often a pre-purchase flight is little more than a ‘round around the pattern’.

Flight training
